The Jewish Federation of Northwest Indiana actively values and supports the importance of the land and state of Israel in the Jewish lives and identities of our constituents.

  • support of the Jewish Agency for Israel, 
  • projects in the Western Galilee via our Partnership2Gether,
  • our annual Israel Solidarity Day, gathering our community together to celebrate Yom HaZikaron (Israel's Memorial Day) and Yom HaAtzma'ut (Israel Independence Day),
  • our Shaliach program, where a young Israeli adult spends a year or more as an emissary to the NWI community,
  • match monies for SKIP (Send a Kid to Israel Program), and
  • the offering of subsidies for Mission Trips to Israel
