A Summer at JCY…
Friendships and Memories - Camp is a wonderful place to make new friends! JCY Camp is designed to foster team spirit. Campers build skills and make lasting memories as they work together and enjoy recreational activities with youth from diverse ethnicities, religions and family structures. Activities, Surprises, & Trips - A wide variety of events and activities make each and every day fun and and engaging to our campers. This summer, our campers will enjoy weekly trips, themed days, and surprise activities! Swimming Lessons - We're bringing back swimming! Each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we will head to the aquatic center at Munster High School for swim lessons with our trained staff. Focused, Hands-On Learning - Science experiments, special guest presenters, and nature explorations bring learning to life. |

Our Staff
Our counselors are extraordinarily committed people. We intentionally hire staff who can create an inclusive, fun environment that promotes self-confidence and a sense of belonging. Most counselors are either current Northwest Indiana educators or pursuing some type of education degree. All staff members participate in an intense hands-on training program that includes CPR certification to ensure the safety of our campers. We love working with young people, and we take our responsibility seriously. That’s why JCY averages a 60% return rate for counselors year after year! |

The JCY Difference
JCY is perfect for kids ages 5 - 14.
JCY Day Camp's programming is designed to foster team spirit. Through themed weeks and carefully crafted programming, campers build skills and self-esteem as they work together and create powerful friendships. .
All costs for a JCY summer are built in the price of camp. All trips, experiences, activities, and more are included!
JCY facilities are housed at the Jewish Federation Community Building in Munster. Located on an expanse of ground, the grassy areas are appropriate for team sports, outdoor lunches and other large group activities.
Whether it's arts and crafts, baseball, basketball, volleyball, hiking, singing, camp newspaper or just hanging out with friends, JCY Day Camp is a wonderful way to spend the summer.
