SKIP: Send a Kid to Israel Partnership
Give your child the gift of Israel.
One day - sooner than you expect - your child will become a teenager. A trip to Israel is one of the most important formative experiences in your child's Jewish development. Our "Send A Kid to Israel Partnership," known as SKIP, can help make that trip possible. SKIP unites families, congregations, and the Jewish Federation of Northwest Indiana in giving your child the opportunity to experience Israel firsthand.
How SKIP Works Students in third through sixth grades who are enrolled in a Jewish religious school program in Northwest Indiana are eligible for initial enrollment in SKIP.
Travel to Israel Students may use their SKIP money for an approved Israel program (including Birthright) anytime between the end of 9th grade and age 32. Unused money is returned to its source: the family, congregation, or Federation. How to Enroll Enrollments are arranged only through participating congregations. Please contact your congregation for further information. |
